They are going to live in the shed whether I like it or not, just check out their little mouse holes they come and go from. They chewed up the Lawn Boy grass bag, the volleyball net, etc. Next, they will be making nests in the mower engines. So I thought if they had a warm little place they could call their own, they just might leave my stuff alone ... and I could just throw it away in the spring when they moved out! Worth a try ...
Mowed the lawn today too. I love to mow the lawn. When I was a young girl my Dad would never let me mow the lawn because I never mowed in a straight line (he was kind of a perfectionist). Well some things never change, I still can't mow straight. But it made me smile. I knew my Dad was looking down on me and just shaking his head and laughing.
Borrowed a bunch of old pictures from my Sister. The below picture is my Dad and his Sister, my Aunt Betty.

Then off to the Putney Inn in VT on Saturday for Larry's surprise 60th birthday party and he was surprised! Had a great time with Larry and Miriam and Leon and Leslie and Linda and a whole bunch of other folks that we never get to see.
Shari's birthday is today too!
Spooky is off to Calgary, Alberta. Had a little going away party for him with his friends on Friday.
... on 'stay'cation with Rog and having WAY TOO MUCH FUN with Picasa 3! Celebrating Kathy's 60th tomorrow night at Shell and Bruce's, and other stuff on Saturday (will tell ya about it later).
Little "Miss Kathy" with her favorite Aunt Nancy at the beach ... just a (way) few years back.
(love the glasses Kathy)!

I love the way the original ironing board stamped name shows through the red apple ...

It stands about 4 & 1/2 feet tall and after the primer and all it's not even too smelly. Anyways, I'm sure the smelly, musty part adds character. It was probably the ironing board of a 'wicked witch' and when she wasn't ironing, it held her open spellbook ...
