I LOVE NEW YORK!

Well thanks to my adventurous, well organized, very intelligent, friend Barbara U., I spent the day in New York City yesterday. Way, way fun!! Barbara coordinated a trip to THE CITY for 46 folks (the majority of whom work for Otis E) and I was invited. The bus picked us up in Farmington at 7:00 a.m.

Here is Barbara giving the bus driver a few tips on how to get to NY.

Donna, me, Linda, Barbara, Mary & Robin at lunch at Casa Bella in the heart of Little Italy
after a morning of shopping.

so close, yet so far away! where in the world is Matt Lauer?

Not sure what goes on in this building, I just like the word ....

(Grace is often distinguished from mercy in that mercy is seen as not receiving punishment that one deserves to receive, whereas grace is receiving a positive benefit that one does not deserve to receive.)

God Bless the USA and NEW YORK!

Signs everywhere ...

Sisters in the City!

This signature drink is called "Wicked"

Long before Dorothy drops in, two other girls meet in the Land of Oz. One, born with emerald green skin, is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. Wicked follows these two unlikely friends and college roomates grow into very different women: The Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch.
